Hello Booster Families,
Thank you to all the parents that came to our Booster Meeting last Tuesday! It's nice to see the other parents we've become friends with through volunteering, and to plan and discuss together how we can help to make this program for our kids even greater. :-) If you missed the meeting, the minutes are attached below. Please read!! Our next booster meeting will be March 6th, as the 13th there is a concert.

Saturday, March 3rd, Winter Guard at Del Norte High School.
Tuesday, March 6th is our next Booster Meeting at 7:00pm in the Band Room.
Scrip orders due Thursday, March 8th! It's an easy way to support the Performance Corps, spending money that you would have anyway!
RECYCLING! Please bring your plastic bottles and aluminum cans (sorry, no glass) to Mesa on Saturday, March 10th, at 9:30am. (See also, "Fundraising".)
Our Festival Awards Concert will be on Tuesday, March 13th in the GPAC at Mesa. Tickets will not be sold, but donations will be accepted. Awards will be handed out, and all the bands and the color guard will perform. Please plan on attending!!
Students should be practicing their music for Festival in March. Other important info from Mr. Greenberg:
* Orchestra members will be provided transportation to and from the festival.
* Concert Band and Wind Ensemble members will need to provide their own transportation to and from the festival. They are also responsible to get their instrument to the festival as well.
Sunday, March 18th, Winter Guard at Colony High School.
Thursday, March 22nd, Wind Ensemble Festival at Temecula Valley High School. This is a self-transport event.
Marching Band Uniforms must be cleaned and returned before Spring Break!
Looking ahead... Our End of the Year Party is scheduled for Saturday, June 2nd. We need someone who would like to take the lead in planning this event. Shawna said she will help whomever volunteers, but needs someone else to head it up. Please contact her for more information (you may reply to this email).
Please continue to keep the Mortensen family in your thoughts and prayers -- Gus Mortensen was in a horrific traffic accident. The family has set up a "gofundme" account if you are willing and able to donate anything. Mortensen family, our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to you and your family.

Please make a donation
to the program on behalf of your student if you have not already done so, and are able. You may donate via the Booster website (www.merboosters.com -- "Donate!" link), or put cash or a check made out to MMHS Music Boosters into the Booster box in Mr. Greenberg's office. Please make sure you indicate which student the donation is for, so that they may be properly credited. Thank you!
Students can still add cell phone numbers and/or email addresses to their Blast Athletics contacts. This is a great way for family and friends to donate to the program (parents, please see the former paragraph on how you should donate) and keep up with what's going on. We get 82% of all the money donated.
If you want to show off your pride in our programs, Mr. Greenberg has window stickers for $2.00.
Also, you can order Performance Corps shirts and hoodies
